After graduating from Case Western Reserve as an English major, Paul Martin spent forty-four years fixing bicycles, making violins, restoring furniture, assisting patients as a nurse’s aide, writing hospice life journals, and collecting stories. As a Third Order Franciscan, he has used the Lectio Divina and Ignatian meditation to listen to God. Married for over forty years, he and his wife have two grown children and three grandchildren.
I have no special qualifications. I’m not a priest or a minister. I’m a husband, father, bicycle mechanic and woodworker, but that’s the point. God talks to anyone.
I go to Mass, I read the Bible, and I listen for what God has in store.
I wrote the book about people I’ve met or heard of, and what The Spirit showed me about the parables and Gospels through them.
We’re all looking to find the way, and I wrote the book for you. Talking with the Spirit can help you find the way and answers in your life.

I'd love to hear how God is talking to you and your journey along the path of listening and lectio divina.
